Oil-based zaatar marinade

Zaatar G19 is an oil-based marinade with a zaatar aroma and a Middle Eastern flavor. It goes with all kinds of meat, from chicken to pork and beef.

What zaatar is

Zaatar is a Middle Eastern spice blend that usually contains thyme, sesame and sumac, with variations from one country to another. In this marinade, the main ingredients are red pepper and sesame flakes.

Allergen: sesame

Sesame is one of the 14 allergen groups that EU Regulation 1169/2011 requires to be emphasized in the ingredients list. When you use this marinade, note sesame on your menu or product label and keep the marinated meat separate from products you sell without sesame.

Dose: 75 g per kg of meat

For 6 kg of meat you need 450 g of marinade, for 40 kg 3 kg. Marinate in the fridge, in a covered container.
